RE: [cobalt-users] Installing Cobalt OS on regular PIII Desktop

The New cobalts are based on the AMD K6-III instead of the mips core qed processor.  ie the raq3, raq4, and Qube 3.  The Cobalt linux dist is very hardware specific.  You would have to rebuild a custom kernel.  It would be interesting to see if it worked.
