Hi,
I have a Gateway Cube. I believe it is the same as a Cube 2. ??
My machine also locked up for no apparent reason.
Gateway replaced the machine and no further lockups have occured. However, I now find that Peachtree leaves various files locked open.

I believe the replacement Cube had either an OS update or slightly different configuration.
I may try the above solution for correcting the file locks.
