RE: [cobalt-users] Frontpage setup using IP address only

One option you have is that if you set-up dns entries for these sites and
your customer uses your dns servers they will be able to work on the site
before it has propogated through the internet. Word of warning if your
customers use other dns servers to try and access their site the will get an
error, windows 9x, ant NT cache this information and will not be able to
retry for a period of time. With windows 2000 you can flush the dns.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Frontpage setup using IP address only

 Is there a way I can give a customer Frontpage access to a virtual domain
right
after I set it up (before the newly registered domain name propagates
through the
DNS's).
  I'd like to let the user get started building the site so that its ready
to go
as soon as the domain name resolves.
 So far I have evrything set up on the RaQ but FP won't allow the login
using just
the IP Address.
Thanks for any help that you can provide.
