Yes, I can understand this but this is when receiving mail, the thing I want
to shut down is when a user connects to the pop to retrieve the mail......
On this point I do not see the advantage....
Or can't I shut one down without shutting the other down?
BTW thanks to John Theriault, the "UseReverseDNS off" in the proftpd.conf
did the job!
