Hi,
I having two questions:
1) My network architecture is as follow:
LAN---Firewall---DMZ---Routeur---Internet.
My "Relay" machine (Cobalt Raq3) lies in the DMZ, on which I installed:
Apache, Imap2000a, Qmail, Horde/IMP my web site is here.
A particular problem on my Raq3 is that the command "telnet localhost
143" do not works.
It tell me even from the Lan machine: "Connection closed by foreign
host".
My "Lan" machine (classical PC) lies in the LAN with: Qmail installed
and user's
account on it. After the installation of IMAP on the Relay I copied some
files (mail.h, c-client.a, linkage.h,...) to the appropriate directories
of the Lan server.
I'm using "maildir2mbox" which allow us to pass from Maildir format to
classical Unix mailboxes one. (users account are in
/home/username/Maildir), in the IMP configuration wizard I puting
"/mail" testing also "/home/myname/mail" in the mail folder (in reality
I'm not sure on what to put here!), since all users have their mail
organised as: /home/username/Maildir and this format likly not supported
by IMAP.
Now, from my web site I can sent messages, but can not imap/pop them..
What I can do to allow users getting their mail on my LAN server from
my web site?
