Hi,
I hope one of you can help me out, I'm having a real hard time with this.
I installed the webalizer package from the cobalt site. I works on most of
the domains (I have about 40) On the first 6 domains that I uploaded (under
admin) the web.log file in the /logs/ directory shows zero k. When
webalizer runs, it sees no log file, so no stats are created. I have since
chown'ed the site to the siteadmin user, thinking that might have something
to do with it (it didn't) I decompressed the web.log.1.gz and manually ran
webalizer, and it produced stats.
My question. Is there any way to fix these few domains so the log rotate
works properly, or do I need to install v.2.0 of webalizer to decompress the
rotated logs? I am not the most proficient at *nix (Web designer by trade)
so if there is a package, anyone know where I could find it?
Any help is much appreciated, this has been a month long ordeal, and soon to
lose clients if I don't get it fixed.
