Ehm, if you're installing on a 386 you _shouldn't_ define HIGHFIRST (as the
i386 platform is little-endian).

Even if you're installing on Cobalt equipment, you should choose the linux
system type. So basically you just download the sourcecode, unpack it - and
then cd into src and write:

make linux

That should be it. It should be very easy to install.

(BTW: Why do you not want to install the newer version 6.5.8 of PGPi for
Linux?)
