You do realize, that the so called "spyware part" is integrated into
the PKG system by Cobalt themselves? (their technotes describe exactly
how to make PKG files report themselves, when they are installed)
In addition, PKG files will normally report themselves to both the
software vendor and Cobalt. The software vendor can however choose to
have it only report to themselves, or not report at all.
I suspect, that most of the Cobalt upgrades all report directly to
Cobalt, when they are installed.
