I use my own version of Webalizer. The one from Cobalt has so many
bugs, that I've compiled a special PKG with my own version of
webalizer. I use a completely different script, which eliminates many
(all?) of the errors that the Cobalt one has (i.e. the permission
problem, the RaQ4+Frontpage problem, the "a lot of traffic crashes
stats" problem and the "low quota sites does not get webalizer
stats"-problem).
Some of these errors have been described throughly on this list, and
many have given advices on how, you can modify your current
installation to better suit your needs.
(for example how to modify the perl script to let it automatically
change the permissions each time the stats have been updated)
