Re: [cobalt-users] Truncating oversized request field

I am getting the same problem. And have been having it since August.
I rang Cobalt support and their answer to me was that the server was so busy
receiving traffic that it was filling up the log files and rotating them too
quickly (I swear to God this is what the guy said). I then asked him if he
could fix the problem by increasing the amount of space that each log file
uses. He said that NO, he couldn't do so as it would invalidate the warranty
and would leave Cobalt open to law suits from me and my customers. This was
just before Christmas.
Since then I have contacted Cobalt professional services and they have said
that they could do it for me at a cost, after asking how much and how to
pay, i have received no reply.
I have dealt with a lot of companies, both big and small and in Cobalt I
thought I had found a company whose support was excellent, every experience
up to now has invariably been a good one. This though, has left a bad taste
in the mouth.
Someone out there must be having these exact difficulties and have solved
them.
If that person could help the rest of us on the list with these problems it
would ease some of the pains that we are suffering.
No logs = No money

Thanks,

Trevor.
