Hello,
I would be gratefull for instructions on exactly how to enable admin/root
rights via FTP?
Yes, I understand this could be a security risk but no one else is going to
have these rights but me and I'm the owner/Admin.
The default install won't even let me set permissions to 755 or 777 via FTP
and I'm logging in via the Admin password.
You don't want to do this! When you have these right's enabled
you open up your system BIG time. I can see everyone hitting
you're server as "root" until they break-in... then you're
screwed. Suggestion, purchasing ISBN 0-07-212127-0, ala
Hacking Exposed by Osborne. If you read this book and still
can't grasp security then go into another line of work. ;-)
