[cobalt-users] ATPMail installation problems

Hi,

I know, that some of you are successfully using ATPmail by Althepal.com (the
commercial edition). I followed all the instructions (as I always do ;-),
but failed to install it properly.

I uploaded the tarball and the install.cgi via FTP (got them via Mail on my
Wintelbox), chmoded 644 and 755 and started ATPinstall.cgi.

The page came up, so Perl works fine ( I have many other scripts running
properly anyway). I entered the data and got a page telling me, that
everything is okay. Folders for user-data and images were created. I
reloaded the page but nothing happened, the very same page showed up. There
was no /secure/admin.cgi to point at.

So I untarred manually and chowned the directory program to nobody.site23
and chmoded to 755. Pointing to /program/admin.cgi gave me a nonpermisson
error by the cgi-wrapper. The same with httpd.httpd (as defined in Apache's
httpd.conf).

The I tried a user of this web web_mail.site23 and I got a misconfiguration
error.

Could you please gimme a hint. It runs on http://mailaccess.haindl.ch/. And
I must admit, that I am not a Linux-Guru (yet ;-) but nonethless a nice guy.
