I believe that when you install the OS3 update it takes OS1 and OS2 out of
the installed packages page.
Yeah I was wondering if that might be it - I noticed updates 1 & 2
disappeared from the GUI's of my other systems once #3 was installed --but--
I just checked the older systems (/var/lib/cobalt/uninstallers/)and noticed
the uninstallers for 1 & 2 are still there (even though they don't show up
in the GUI).
RaQ3-Update-OS-1.0.uninst
RaQ3E-Update-OS-2.0.uninst
On the new system, they're not there - just an uninstaller for OS update
3... uhmmm.... I thought Cobalt didn't install updates before they shipped
new boxes - keeps everyone on the same page when one comes out of the
box..<??> uhmm.. This seems strange.. especially because two of the updates
were of bad update releases that were pulled off the Cobalt site within days
of their posting.. (e.g., RaQ3-All-Security Release and 3.0.1-6750
RaQ3-All-SystemRelease 3.0.1-5917).
