RE: [cobalt-users] PHP 4.0.4 Installation

I hope I don't offend with this reply ... but this topic has been hashed
SOOOO many times recently that a look through the archives will give you
what you need and then some as well as not take up more space in everyone's
mailbox.

Perhaps a refresher on steps one should follow:

Check the Cobalt Knowledgebase http://www.cobalt.com/support/kb/index.php3

Check the Archives http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/ for the main
listing or http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-users for this
discussion thread.

Send an email to the group

While waiting for replies check your favorite search engine using non-cobalt
specific search terms for issues that are present on any unix/linux server
such as PHP, Perl, & MySQL.

Once again I hope I don't offend and apologize in advance if I do ... after
you've been on the list for a while I bet you'll get tired of the same
issues coming in one right after another.

Have a Great Evening,
Mike

Subject: [cobalt-users] PHP 4.0.4 Installation

Hello,

Please, can anyone tell me exactly how to install PHP 4.0.4 on my Raq3 ?
I have this file on my Raq : php-4.0.4RC6.tar.gz
I need the complete installation procedures, like a Howto...
Or do anyone have a PKG ?
What's about IMAP ? Do i really need it, even if PHP 4.0.3 is already
installed ?

Thanks for your help
A Newbe ;)
