[cobalt-users] email problems

Well, sendmail seems to be working alright now, but our pop server seems to
be slow at delivering mail. Complaints are still coming in about it, but
compliments on sendmail is coming in (at least that's something). I don't
see any errors and I am completely stupid about the mail system so I don't
know how to configure it (just learned about sendmail recently). I am having
other admins help me with this but none of us are getting far. It seems one
of the admins found evidence our pop server is causing problems with
sendmail, but I haven't seen anything on that yet.

Also, today I tried making a majordomo list through the web gui and it
didn't seem to work. The gui says it's there, but majordomo says it doesn't
exist. This seems to be just a recent thing as I am just now hearing about
it after I experienced it myself.

If anyone is knowledgeable about any of these problems, please don't
hesitate to send an email to strider@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx so that I can pick out
a solution easier than scanning multiple digests.
