Hi David,
I'm running sendmail 8.9.3 on a Raq3i. I experienced a lot of sendmail
shutdowns when our outgoing mail started to get heavy, so I upped some of
the resource settings as shown previously, and decreased some of the
timeouts to prevent hanging sessions, and all of my problems have gone away!
<smile>
I have not dared venture into multiple queue directories yet, as it has not
proven neccessary. I guess that if the load increases more, I might look
into it - but by then I might have bought a RaQ4, which I understand comes
preconfigured with multiple queues (although, don't quote me on that!).
Regards,
Tarren.
