[cobalt-users] [RaQ3i] -- lost root pw, help!?

Hey All,

I have inadvertenly lost my root password when logging to my server via 
telnet.  I can log in as Admin, but the pw for root was different...... 
 I think I know the first main part of the URL, but I think I added 
something like one or two extra characters on the end, and now they do 
not seem to match up with what I had added them as in own memory.

Is there little recourse for me now but to learn how to run a crack 
program on my pw file and hope I can crack me root?!
