Hello all,
I am considering moving from an apple/linux combination to a
predominantly RAQ based environment for the bulk of our client list.
This is going to cause me to post a few no brainers so please be
tolerent of my stupidity.
When I say RAQ please note that I am refering to all models and
configurations as decision on purchasing has not been made yet.
(several 2's and a 4 or maybe a three and a 4)
Firstly is anyone using i-Tools by Tenon instead of the RAQ based
stuff for box administration?
Secondly anyone running Webcat on a RAQ could you please respond with
any ideas on performance compared to other Intel solutions eg wintel
box with dual 450's.
Several of our shop sites are built around a bespoke PHP MySQL
combination as well as a seach engine and many more Dynamic base
sites/services. Has anyone got some hard and fast benchmark data
relating to this type of pairing on RAQ hardware. The capability
shown on the bottom of the data sheets is a little useless.
Similar question, any data for an email only machine with possibly
name services running also.
Thats it for now.
Thanks in advance.
