You don't do it with the gui. If you do it outside of the gui, you do
it using the records file or it will disappear the next time you use the
gui to update DNS.
And you make sure you really understand what you're doing and why before
doing it, since wildcard DNS has severe limitations and has fallen out
of favor with just about every DNS expert.
And frankly, if you do it with the records file, it may very well get
overwritten by the gui as well; I don't have a RaQ4 yet, and I haven't
tested it. I'm about to bring a RaQ3 out of service and when I do I'll
be able to use restore disks to try things for both the 3 and 4 product
lines, but that's about a month or so away.
