Have tried each link from the UK - all work fine.
Have you set up the reverse PTR correctly - we had the same
problem in that our ISP is also providing secondary DNS
which for some reason meant we couldn't see some of our own
virtual sites but others could, bizarre.

Subject: [cobalt-users] An even stranger DNS problem
I recently transferred SOA & name servers from one provider to another when
I upgraded to HostPro's dedicated RaQ4 offering. Obviously all of the DNS
host entries had to be changed to point to my new IPs on the RaQ4. However,
now 2 weeks down the line after the SOA and DNS host entries were changed,
still about 4/5 th's of the DNS records still resolve to the OLD server I
owned, but only if I resolve them from Europe. If I resolve them from a
North American location they seem to resolve fine. It also doesn't seem to
have effected any NEW DNS host entries which I've had made. They seem to
function fine straight away.
Does anybody know why this might be? I've tried resolving these from 5
uplinks in Europe and they're all resolving wrong!! I don't think it's a
problem with HostPro's DNS hosting because it seems to be resolving okay in
the States.
Try for yourself, and if you can help I'd very much appreciate it.
Example NEW host names which seem to work from Europe & North America:
irc.tfb.net
irc.anyone.org
irc.katyland.com
Old hosts which were transferred which don't work in Europe but do in
America:
www.tfb.net
www.anyone.org
www.baya.co.uk
TIA,
Nic
