Diana,
Did you restart the Apache Webserver? Any changes to Apache's configuration
files will not take effect until Apache is restarted.

Hi,
Yup...restarted with this:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd.init restart
several times...after each change because I was going through the list of
options..:)
nothing seems to work
