I have a few questions regarding the Cobalt VPN Velociraptor:
My main question is will it support Appletalk over VPN?...or must I do
something like packetize the Appletalk in TCP/IP before sending it
through the Velociraptor?
All I want to do is connect two remote LANs to each other. I envision a
Velociraptor VPN (or other) box applicance at each end. It is configured
to ONLY connect to that other IP number and vice versa. Nothing else.
The idea is to connect the two remote LANs securely using VPN over the
Internet instead of slow telephone lines.
My main difficulty though is I have a legacy server that runs AppleTalk
that has to remain Appletalk (at least for another 8 months) and hence
need a solution that will allow VPNing of the Appletalk.
I think I heard McAfee PGP does VPN or something and could be use to
packetize the Appletalk so it will tunnel through?
