I did apply this patch and AM able to access the files.... the QUBE just
will not let 2 users access the same files at the same time. Any ONE user
can start a program and access the data but as soon as a 2nd user tries
their computer locks up or they get a "file access denied" message. YES...
the programs are meant to share their data with several users at the same
time and YES it worked fine for 2 years before the "upgrade".

Apply this patch:
http://ftp.cobalt.com/pub/packages/qube2/eng/Qube2-All-System-3.0.1-6541.pkg
This should fix the availability of the shares.
