If you read the code you'll see that all he's doing is looking at the
html header and comparing it against referers.  So in other words the
only reason to use the IP# is if you've got a separate one for each
domain, as then people can use the IP# in the url box on their browser,
as well as the domain name.

Yes, but it will make your box an effective spam-relay in relatively
