there`s an article in the cobalt knowledge base, how to compile it.
there`s even a package by cobalt itself, don`t know which version.

consider that - as i remember - most of the 1.2.x versions contain a
serious security hole if you are using secure copy.

an interesting possibility is that you can encrypt even unsecure
protocols like pop3 or ftp by using the ssh port forwarding
possibilities. great for protecting your admin password, even better if
you can force your users to do it.

you should disable telnet using the gui. so you can turn it on again if
ssh should crash.
