Re: [cobalt-users] I got scammed by a RaQ dealer - FIXED

Keep in mind, the best way to insure you are safe is to insure you have a
good contract. You can research a company and still end up in a bad
situation. If you can, contact the company and request provisions be added
to the agreement. Specify what is acceptable, and what is unacceptable by
the company. Have them put everything in writing. A good company will be
more than happy to agree to any reasonable request, a bad company will not.

I recently was scammed myself when I did not follow my own rules. When I
went looking for a new colo, I added a full page of custom contractual
provisions to the contract. I kept every request reasonable and did not
open them up to liability. They were more than happy to agree.

The more you clarify at the start, the less there is to argue in the end!
