We are experiencing the same problem. We have been monitoring the service
and have found it to be down three separate occasions for more than three
hours in the past 24 hours.

I highly suspect that this has nothing to do with the individual servers,
but rather stemming from their connectivity problems they have been plagued
with for the past few weeks.
