Subject: [Developercontact] Cobalt Developers

Congratulations Cobalt Developers! Sun Microsystem's acquisition of Cobalt
Networks is final and your efforts at creating solutions for the server
appliance market have been validated. Cobalt Networks products now extend
Sun's network computing leadership to server appliances.

With the close of the deal, Cobalt becomes the server appliance business
unit of Sun's Network Service Provider group. The integration of Cobalt's
products will enhance Sun's position in the growing server appliance
marketplace and also reinforces Sun's long-standing focus on network
computing.

Throughout this transition, the Cobalt Developer Network
(http://developer.cobalt.com) will remain your source for developer
information on Cobalt server appliances. The goal of the Cobalt Developer
Network has been to work with you to "appliantize" your applications. This
goal is unchanged, as Cobalt Networks becomes part of Sun.

Thank you for the part you have played in the explosive development of the
server appliance market.
