1) This was not send through the listserver, but to the address I used when
I registered with Cobalt as an ISP
2) California Business & Professions Code 17538 defines spam. It is NOT
spam where there is an existing personal or business relationship between
the sender and the recipient, AND there has been no specific instruction NOT
to send mail.
3) It would seem reasonable to construe membership of Cobalt's User List to
be a 'personal or business relationship' so unless you have specifically
instructed Cobalt NOT to send you mail I don't see what the gripe is?
4) I certainly don't consider myself in the 'elite' group that is beyond
considering training or certification, and therefore welcomed the news of
the excellent & pro-active approach at supporting us as users of this
product.
