Sorry if this is a duplicate post. I just joined and don't know if my
initial post went up.
I tried a FTP backup to an FTP server via the scheduled backup in the UI
last night. I got a message this morning saying it failed. When I set it up,
I see on my FTP server that the raq logged in to the ftp server and then
immediately disconnected. I assume it was just checking the connection at
the time of the scheduled backup set up. I don't know why the backup
failed.Here's the email I got:
backupset: complete
target: complete
protocol: ftp
resource: 63......../c:/raqbackup (IP address removed for this post)
Is there a way to initiate the backup immediately so I can see if it
actually works, and if not, troubleshoot?
If I log on to the ftp server as anonymous (which is what the raq is logging
on as) it takes me to the directory where the raq should back up and does
let me write to that directory, so I don't know what's wrong here.
Thanks in advance.
