| if you want to collect most of the hardware info in a readable form, you
| might consider hinv (hardware inventory), ported to linux as a little
| perl script.

In particluar look for the "MODEL" and "REVISION" lines. This is of course
the same info you can get from /etc/build, but conveniently printed with
loads of other useful (and/or useless) information.
RaQ3 software should be "MODEL = 3000R" and "REVISION = 3.148"
RaQ4 software should be "MODEL = 3100R" and "REVISION = 1.155" (RAID)
or "MODEL = 3001R" and "REVISION = 1.72" (no RAID)
And of course check the reported "CPU0 MHZ". As has been discussed before
the RaQ3 should be at 300MHz and RaQ4 should be 450MHz. These figures
are from memory so don't hesitate to contact your reseller or Cobalt
support if something doesn't add up.
