Re: [cobalt-users] Can't get domain to let go of IP

Carrie,

Well, I don't admin our servers normally, I am capable of most admin tasks
however, and I have found that the cobalt admin interfaces aren't the best.
They do a fine job for non-admin personnel but if you have a real problem,
normally you have to get down and dirty and actually interface direct with
the OS. Also, I have found that Techsupport is a joke with a cobalt system
that is why we are about to move away from cobalt servers I think. If I
could get ahold of the Raq4 CD and see how it works I might actually stay
with cobalt, but at this point in the game I'm not giving them anymore of my
money.

Even on my own machine? Arrgh! *bonking head into wall and chuckling*
Okey dokey. I updated the hosts.sam file on my machine, no go. I'm just
going to have to wait, and in the meantime, cross my fingers that it's just
ME. *L*

It brings up the question though, is there a way to flush the Cobalt's
cache?
If I had known a five-minute mistake would have caused all of this trouble,
I would've worn a condom on my fingers while typing! ROFL!!!

Carrie - who's had some sleep now and isn't quite so homicidal
