I *was* using AOL. Loooong story, don't ask. They do not provide or support SMTP for users. So I had our Raq domain set as the smtp server.
As soon as I got set up with a REAL provider (after being a prisoner to AOL for months.. made a relocation and threw in a free disk for instant access while I was planning to get cable or dsl.. then found out no high speed in my neighborhood...arghh!) my smtp problem disappeared as I reconfig'd my mail client to use ISP's smtp server info.
What I don't quite understand is why the Raq's domain (any of them) can't be used for the smtp server? Anyone know?
