Don't use a POP3 client ... migrate to IMAP.

Your regular email client must be POP3 ... IMP is essentially an IMAP
client.

Stop using IMP.
You can't have it both ways. IMAP (e.e. IMP) creates the "message" to keep
track of whats there. POP3 thinks its a normal mail message. If you stop
using a POP3 client you'll never receive it. If you stop using an IMAP
client then it'll never get created.
