Okay well I am a cobalt racks customer and I did get a response from them as
to downtime as of late, their response was that the company that provides
them access to the net is doing some infrastructure upgrades and to expect
some brief couple minutes to 1/2 hour downtimes. Well okay, since this
morning the connection to our server has been fantastic, with no reports of
downtime today, we get a report from netwhistle.com every 15 minutes if
anything goes wrong and they cant reach our server, Im happy to report that
today there hasn't been one downtime report from them.
I will take it on face value that they say that cable and wireless are doing
upgrades, okay, they are doing upgrades, I will wait and hold my full
opinion until the end of next week and see what all it has worked out to be,
good or bad. I can say though that support is almost non existant, but
heres a tip, email to both your customer sales rep, and the support address,
your more likely to get a reply in that event, it's worked for us each time.
So... Am I willing to put my reputation on the line and recommend them, not
at this time, perhaps next friday when I can see how stable their connection
is now that cable and wireless has done some upgrades to their system.
Regards,
Adam
