If this info exists somewhere outside the list, I apologies... I've been
searching and Time is running out. I think I have most of it figured out,
but rather than guess I could use a step-by-step from anyone who has
experience setting this up... here's what info I need:
On RaQ3 AND RaQ4:
What are the correct setup steps ( after setting the "A" and "MX" records)
for using an external/in house mail server?
Do I even have to have the mail server option enabled?
My situation is that we have a few clients leasing dedicated RaQ who are
using Exchange servers in house - after setting the correct A and MX records
the mail is bouncing when it hits the server - I have been given a few
conflicting answers from Cobalt ( none of which seem to work). One answer
was to enter the mail server name in the Smart Relay field - this seemed to
do nothing, and after reading the "manual" it doesn't seem like the right
solution....the other was to put the mail server IP address in the relay
mail from field - this doesn't seem to work either.
