Re: [cobalt-users] RE: reply to address (Qube 2)

Check the archives -- I recall an email that talked about changing the reply-to field on a global basis for majordomo (I can't recall the file referenced). To route replies to the sender you had to set "reply-to = $SENDER". I think if you change to "reply-to=" the mailing lists will be set to reply to list.

Edit the configuration files for each of your mailing lists. The files are

for example, home.config.

The parameter you are interested in is the Reply-To field. I believe it
needs to be set to owner-listname for replys to always go back to the list.

For more detail on majordomo, you might want to look at

Hope this helps.

I had to reformat my Qube 2 with the restore CD, i had already backed up my
users and mailing lists but when i restored them to my brand new installed
QUbe 2 everything works fine except for the mailing lists,
when someone sends a mail to any of my lists it always has the person who
sent it as the return address not the mailing list as the return address,
does anyone know how to fix this problem?

thanx all

many regards

p.s also still interested in Multilink PPP on a QUbe 2 is it possible and is
