After many hours Cobalt have my RAQ up and running again.
I just called the US from UK and they have promised to send me an email
detailing what they have done, so that I may post it for those people who
have the same problem.
As soon as I have it - I will post.
Putting to one side the cause of the problems.
I must say that the people from Cobalt that worked on my RAQ were great
especially Paul Z, he had been on shift since midnight US time and stayed on
hours after his shift had finished to try and fix the problem.
So if anyone from Cobalt reads this - Thank you Paul for your extra
efforts - They are appreciated.
I should also like to add, That I think Cobalt has to recognize that many
users like myself have now lost complete faith in their updates.
I believe they have an excellent value for money product, which is spoiled
by this problem and I would urge their management to took into a ensuring
that users confidence is restored, by accepting responsibility for these
updates and issuing a statement that they are introducing additional testing
before releasing them.
As Users, I would imagine we are some of their best salespeople, I would
hate to see that value lost due to the lack of confidence in the updates.
Clearly it is unacceptable for people whose living is made from their
investment in Cobalt products being affected by such problems.
As a newbie I apologize if this is not the place to mention these things -
but if anyone would like to point me in the right direction to pass this
message to Cobalt - I would be grateful.
