Clint,BIND deals with domain names, whereas Apache handles the actual web site. If you were having name resolution problems (seems that I recall that from your earlier post), then that is most likely a BIND configuration problem. BIND does not have a limitation of 64 names to an IP address, so there must have been some other DNS related issue. Hard to say at this point without more info.
I've heard different things stated on the list as to whether or not Apache supports more than 64 sites per IP address, but as I recall >64 virtual sites for Apache should not be a problem.
