I also would like to find these scripts to add mass users.
<General Complaint>
Though by watching the list the Mips owners are sometimes treated like
3rd class customers since we are not using the new Intel arch. But that'a
a joke, since they are still using the 2.14 kernel which has a major
security root exploit and Cobalt hasn't released a patch though Red Hat
has a while back. Probably thats why many users are wondering about
their log files and pages missing if they have already applied the lastest
security patches. Though I commend the Cobalt team for releasing Security:
glibc Update 3.0.1 RaQ3-All-Security-3.0.1-8061.pkg, I would like Cobalt
to share some of the advances that are made to Intel Users to Mips customers,
like the automated script to create users. I imagine that if their dev
team can not put out a kernel release to fix a root exploit for their
1st and 2nd class customers, you might as well run netBSD on your box
: http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/cobalt/ if security holes are going to
enable your ISP business to bite the dust.
</General Complaint>
