To answer a couple of your questions:

It is the worst documentation I have ever seen, I have battled with it for
weeks to try to understand it, and have made a few discoveries while
attempting, but a lot of it still remains a mystery.

Yeah we bought it and it works ok, but I think it is very slow, and a pain
to set up. Not to mention the incredible stupid, incorrect (in some places)
and almost impossible to understand documentation.
