Now havn't we been waiting for a long time for that one! I first reported
the problem in late 99 ... its been a year since Cobalt acknowledged the
"bug", but I've not seen a fix.

I tend not to be the first to install Cobalt updates as they have in the
past caused additional problems, hence I have not installed the latest OS
Update, but I have heard that it does not include a fix for the Netatalk
date bug.

It is interesting to note that the Gateway Microserver, which is basically a
black Qube2 with a built-in modem, Squid and some GUI changes does NOT
suffer this problem.

It is my understanding that Cobalt build the Gateway Microserver for
Gateway, hence they know how to fix the problem but fixing Qube2 problems
doesn't seem to be a priority ... I wonder if the Qube3 has the bug?

Cheers, Malcolm
