I have recently got a RAQ4 with chilisoft, and am new to Linux. I want to
have a simple online database. I have exported my access database to dBase
5 and am trying to set up a dsn connection through chilisoft.
In setting up the DSN there is a field labelled 'Database' can someone
clarify, is this the name of the database, the path to it or what?
Where on the sever should I locate the dbf file so that it is not publicly
accessable and are there any other considerations e.g. permissions etc to
get it working.
I have set up the ASP server and simple asp scripts are working OK, but
whenever I test the dsn I get the following :-
HTTP Error 506
506 ASP Not Available
The ASP service is unavailable for this host. Please check the URL to ensure
that the path is correct.
Any help on this matter would be most gratefully appreciated, before I pull
the rest of my hair out.
