Jonathan, if you type in the smtp configs for his provider, the 
outgoing mail is not going through your machine at all. This totally 
circumvents your smpt so the rejection is by his provider. Or am I 
misunderstanding what you're saying?

Sounds like your sendmail is working fine. If he's using the same 
provider when he gets through AND when he fails, it could be an issue 
with his provider but it sounds to me more like an Outlook Express 
problem. Can he check outgoing mail service with another email client 
using the provider's smtp?

I could be missing something but, given what you've described, I 
don't think it's an issue with your Raq.
