The problem is related to an old version of a library - glibc if I recall
correctly. I suspect you can fix the problem by installing Cobalt
upgrades that take care of upgrading glibc. Or you can grab the RPMs off
of the Cobalt FTP site. For details about exact steps necessary on the
RaQ2 that worked for a RaQ2 1.5 to 2 years ago (before a long string of
Cobalt upgrades) search the MySQL mailing list for "werby sinisa". If you
can find a web archive of that list I'm sure that will only turn up 1 or 2
messages since Sinisa of MySQL helped me with that problem in early 1999.
Also, I believe Cobalt has a pkg file for MySQL 3.22.32. If not the
tarball installation works on the RaQ2 - I've installed 3.22.32 and 3.23.x
on it dozens of times.
