Hello, the Restore CD was working great 2 days ago, but now have this
repeating error sequence during the restore process:
1. Net booting
2. Mounting NFS server
3. Loading Scripts
4. Select Config:
Qube2
5. Really install?
[Y]ES [N]O <we select yes>
6. Builiding disk
7. Verifing Release_spec
8. Partitioning < 3 second process>
disk
9. Formatting /dev/hda1, hd3, hd4 <runs though this in 2 seconds>
10. Mounting /dev/hd on /mntdir/ <1 second process>
11.Rebooting..
please wait.
We have compliant hardware on the PC and a cross-over cable. It happened
to someone on a Raq, and they did a Raq 1->2 Destroy, but this is a Qube2.
We did a Low Level Format on the drive and get the same output. Does
the Restore CD check for required files like a Windows 2000 upgrade before
restoring or has anyone restored to a blank drive?
Pointers appreciated.
