I have recently moved my 8 web sites to my new RaQ4 hosted by a company who
apparently specialise in such things based in UK.
I have been trying to set up email for each of my domains and after a few
problems and limited help from the web hosts managed to receive email for
all my sites. However I cannot send out email for any of my sites. After
sending about 10 emails to the web hosts and getting one or two word answers
back each time I was shocked to be finally told ...
"To send emails from email addresses @the domains on your server, you should
use your ISPs SMTP server"
This makes no sense to me as I obviously want to be able to send email from
each domain rather than everything going through my ISP (cableinet.co.uk)
I have searched the archives and have seen POP before SMTP mentioned a lot,
is this the answer to my problem or is there a easier way to resolve this.
Any assistance will be gratefully received, but please be aware I am very
new to this.
