We have a customer he has an ip address from outside our network that is
sending mail and receiving the relay-denied error. It was my understanding
that as long as their email address/reply-to address was from a domain on
the raq server that they would be able to relay through the server. Is this
not the case? I realize we can add their ip address to the server but that
would certainly prove to be a tedious if not impossible process to obtain
all the client ip's. I'm also looking at the pop b4 relay package but am a
bit wary of having to explain to customers that they have to login before
being able to send.
Thanks for any thoughts you can offer.
