[cobalt-users] Site Management from GUI modify User Problem

I recently installed php4 with no problem, but since then when I try and
modify a user from the GUI . logged in as admin. I get "You do not have
permission to access the requested file on this server."

I can modify users that jave been set up as site administrators with no
problem, It is only stanfard users that I have the probem with.

Linuxsure have contacted Cobalt and they say they dont know what the problem
is, but to try uninstalling PHP4 and use PHP3. - (I dont want to do that)

1. Anyone have any suggestions ?

2, Which files does the GUI look at when you modify user ?

Thanks

Hi Steve,

I've spoken to Cobalt support, and they believe that the installation of
php4
has caused some security corruption.
Their only recommendation is to remove PHP4, and download and install php3
from
their ftp site:
ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/raq3/

I'm not convinced myself that this is the problem, but I'm also not sure
what
could be causing it. Maybe the above is worth trying for nothing else but
the
purposes of elimination. At least then, I can contact Cobalt again to see
if I
can get something else out of them.
