Hello,
After accidentally having not set the proper permissions on
one of the majordomo list configuration files- majordomo
aborted... and I could no longer send an email to
majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx I just get a majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxx
... User unknown return email.
Well, if I telnet in to the raq2, I can run the
echo 'help' | mail majordomo
command, and I get the proper response in my email.
On the other OTHER hand, if I am telnetted in and type "echo
'lists' | mail majordomo" I do get a properly formatted
email from majordomo, but it does NOT show any of the lists
anymore.
I have posted (probably too many) similar questions in the
last couple of days, but this behavior seemed so novel, I
thought SOMEONE might have seen it before... anybody?
For those of you with luck my mine, you can probably relate
to the fact that this happened immediately after I landed a
big "we need lots of mailing lists" client... what a week :(
